On July 5, 2016, Recipharm announced that the company will invest €18 million (approximately $19.73) to expand blow-fill-seal (BFS) capacity at its site in Kaysersberg, France. The investment will include the introduction of a BFS high-speed filling and packaging line, Recipharm said in a press announcement. Recihparm’s Kaysersberg site is a sterile facility specializing in BFS technology for sterile liquids.
Recipharm says it will also prepare to add three additional filling lines to the facility in upcoming years, increasing the company’s BFS capacity by 50%.
