Sterigenics International Adds Capacity
Sterigenics International will triple West Memphis sterilization capacity with $15 million expansion.
Sterigenics International LLC, a provider of contract sterilization, gamma technologies, and medical isotopes announced on Oct. 1 2015 a $15 million expansion at their West Memphis, AR, facility that will triple gamma sterilization capacity.
The facility currently offers 2.5 million cu ft of gamma sterilization capacity. The installation of a new gamma cell will triple capacity to 7.5 million cu ft and upon completion in early 2017, will result in approximately 20 additional jobs at full capacity, the company reports.
