Hapa addresses the topics of four-color printing on blister packages, serialization, and digitalization at Achema 2018.

The BlisterJet CMYK by Hapa is a digital multi-color blister printing system for sealed, neutral blisters. The fully digital piezo inkjet system prints on blank blisters. The solvent-free, UV-curable inks print sharp graphics and text in single, multi-color, or CMYK process applications. The system is available for inline or near-to-line configurations.Hapa will demonstrate four-color printing on aluminum blisters at Achema 2018 (Frankfurt, June 11–15, 2018).

Hapa’s Web 4.0 is designed for high-resolution printing on web materials. According to Hapa, Web 4.0 can be integrated into existing packaging lines and fits seamlessly into the digital workflow. Its modular concept is based on standard components that can be combined according to requirements. The system can be expanded from one to up to six spot colors or WCMYK plus lacquer, thereby allowing it to be adapted to changing production requirements. The Web 4.0 already fulfillsfuture serialization requirements and is capable of printing individual data on each individual blister pocket. The Hapa team will be presenting the Web 4.0 and demonstrating two-color printing on aluminum foil.
