Karl Fischer Coulometer for Water Analysis
The Metrohm 917 Karl Fischer Coulometer is a stand-alone coulometer for routine water analysis.
The Metrohm 917 Karl Fischer Coulometer, a stand-alone coulometer for routine water analysis that requires 8 in of linear bench space, features a touchscreen display, simple method recall, and an integrated pump combined with reagent and sample handling.
The instrument recognizes when a sample has been injected and starts the titration without prompt and features automatic sample weight transfer from a laboratory balance and LIMS compatibility. Quick access to frequently used methods allows titration to begin with a single touch on color touchscreen.
The coulometer can be connected to an oven for thermal sample preparation. An integrated pump enables the use to perform reagent exchange at the push of a button and avoid contact with Karl Fischer reagent. Reagents are monitored to maximize reagent life, speed up the measurement process, and prevent waste from discarding reagents too soon, the company reports.
