The companies will present the SV model a semi-automatic machine for the inspection of liquid, lyophilized, or powder products in ampoules, vials, cartridges, and pre-filled syringes.

The Marchesini Group, a packaging lines and machines supply company headquartered in Italy, announced it will participate in P-MEC Europe, a part of CPhI Worldwide, with its partner SEA Vision, an Italy-based pharmaceutical inspection and sterilization systems company, on Nov. 5–7 in Frankfurt, Germany. The companies will present the SV model by Marchesini Group company CMP Pharma, a semi-automatic machine for the inspection of liquid, lyophilized, or powder products in ampoules, vials, cartridges, and pre-filled syringes, according to a Sept. 23, 2019 press release.

The new device, which ranges from 1 mL to 1000 mL and can handle up to 100 pieces per minute, comes equipped with brushless motors for fast rotation and slow rotation, according to the release. Containers are sent to the inspection station where they are inspected through a magnifying lens and, if rejected, automatically collected in trays.

It can also operate in conjunction with additional units and can be configured as multiple inspection stations based on the customer’s requirements.

“P-MEC Europe will be the occasion to showcase at an international fair our made-in-Italy technology for the inspection of pharmaceutical products" said Luigino Pilastro, general manager of CMP Pharma. "The appointment is at our stand, where our technical experts will be on hand to illustrate our products and strategies for the future."

The companies will be showcasing the SV model at Stand 110D60 at the event.
