Ropack Expands Capabilities and Establishes US Presence

Ropack Inc. has purchased two pharmaceutical facilities in Long Island, New York, adding research and development, formulation, lab analysis, and commercial and clinical manufacturing capabilities to the company’s established solid oral dosage packaging and clinical study distribution offerings.

In addition, the company reported that activities in the United States will be managed through Ropack USA Inc., and that Ropack Inc. and Ropack USA Inc. will now be known as Ropack Pharma Solutions.

The buildings, formerly operated by Forest Laboratories, total 213,700 sq-ft. The company operates four facilities in Montreal, Canada, for the packaging of solid oral dosage in bottles, flip-top vials, blister packs, stick-packs and sachets and is a Canadian clinical trial depot.
