Shrink Banders for Labeling Applications
The R Series Shrink banders from PDC International Corporation perform label and neck banding functions at line speeds of 400 to 1000 cpm.
The R Series Shrink banders from PDC International Corporation perform label and neck banding functions at line speeds of 400 to 1000 cpm. The machine can be used to label pharmaceutical vials and ampules. The banders apply 1-3.75-in. diameter bands at heights up to 2.375 in. The machines are engineered to run continuously, with a continuous material web that does not pause for cutting. The banders include ink-jet and thermal-transfer coding, 2D and bar-code scanning, and vision system inspection. Installation qualification and operational qualification documents can also be generated for regulatory compliance. PDC R-Series Shrink banders have the capability to apply thin gauge (1 to 1.5 mils, 25 to 40 micron) banding materials, and are compatible with all shrink sleeve films made from a variety of polymer types.
