Single-Use Electromagnetic Flow Meter

The Flexmag 4050C Electromagnetic Flow Meter from Krohne is suited for biopharmaceutical applications including filtration processes, chromatography, or buffer and media preparation.

The Flexmag 4050C Electromagnetic Flow Meter from Krohne is suited forbiopharmaceutical applications including filtration processes, chromatography, or buffer and media preparation.

The instrument features a disposable flow tube suited for single-use processes. The biocompatible and gamma sterilizable flow tube features a single barb fitting that meets biopharmaceutical requirements for adaptation to single-use systems. The tube’s full-bore construction is designed for minimal hold-up volume without obstruction, and the single barb fitting is suitable for braided and non-braided hoses. The tubes are gamma sterilizable at 25–40 kGy irradiation.

The flow meter provides a completely stable, direct, and accurate volumetric flow measurement unaffected by fluid properties such as color or density. The transmitter and flow tube are factory calibrated and do not require in-situ calibration. Two different flow tubes sizes can be accommodated to handle two different flow ranges by exchanging the tube without having to recalibrate.
